Cute Charm and TID/SID
3DS RNG

Written Guide

RNG a TID and SID to predict when you'll get shiny Pokemon. Optionally RNG a Cute Charm ID pair for massively increased shiny odds during your playthrough. For increased shiny odds, have a Pokemon with the Cute Charm ability in the front of your party. The Pokemon's gender needs to be the opposite of your target gender. For max shiny odds, this means having a male Cute Charmer.

  5. If you've calibrated at least once and need to flip your delay, switch between upper and lower case characters one extra time. Japanese games should switch between Hiragana and Katakana.

Calibrate

  1. Open your trainer card and check your TID.
  2. Type your TID into the box below and click "Generate".
  3. Click "Calibrate" on the TID with the smallest delay offset (should be the first result).
  4. If the "Flip Delay" column is checked, you'll need to swap between the player name characters one extra time, e.g. lower to upper case. Japanese games will need to switch to a different kana, eg. from Hiragana to Katakana.
  5. Try to hit your target again. This can take multiple attempts.
In Diamond and Pearl it is possible for the delay to randomly switch from even to odd, or vice versa. When this happens, you'll need to keep trying until you get the target.Target TID: ??? / SID: ???
