Azahar Setup - Install Pokemon CIAs

Hunt, Trade, and RNG with Us!

This guide helps you install Pokemon CIAs on Azahar. You need an updated Custom Firmware 3DS console to dump the CIA from a cartridge or digitally purchased game.

For dumping the CIA:

A 3DS with CFW (Custom Firmware) and the latest GodMode9
Latest game update installed on the 3DS
(Optional) Dump_PKMN_Update.gm9 Script

Dumping Game Data

Choose one of the methods below to dump your games and game updates.

Automatic Pokemon game and update dumping

Place the Dump_PKMN_Update.gm9 script on your 3DS SD card in sdmc:\gm9\scripts.
Boot your 3ds while holding Start and launch GodMode9.
Press the console's Home button to open a new menu.
Select Scripts... from the menu.
Select Dump_PKMN_Updates script and follow the on-screen directions.
Exit GodMode9 and copy the files in /gm9/out to your computer.

Manually dump a physical cartridge

Select [C:] GAMECART.
Select the trim.3ds file.
Select NCSD image options....
Select Build CIA from file.
Exit GodMode9 and transfer files from /gm9/out to your computer.

Note: Game updates are only installed digitally.

Manually dump a digital game

Hover over [A:] SYSNAND SD.
Hold R and press A to open the drive options.
Select Open title manager....
Press A on the game or update you want to dump.
Select Manage Title....
Select Build CIA (standard).
Exit GodMode9 and copy the files in /gm9/out to your computer.

Manually dump a game update

Hover over [A:] SYSNAND SD.
Hold R and press A to open the drive options.
Select Open title manager....
Press A on the game or update you want to dump.
Select Manage Title....
Select Build CIA (standard).
Exit GodMode9 and copy the files in /gm9/out to your computer.

Installing games on Azahar Desktop

Run the emulator.
Choose File, then Install cia....
Install both the game and update .cia files.

Installing games on Azahar Mobile

Open the emulator.
Tap on the three dots in the bottom right.
Choose Install CIA file.
Install both the game and update .cia files.
